St. Anthony’s donates medical refrigerators to Free Clinic

December 29, 2022 – The St. Petersburg Free Clinic recently expanded its healthcare offerings but needed additional refrigerated storage space. So, St. Anthony’s Hospital donated two pharmaceutical refrigerators worth $14,000. According to a Dec. 15 release, the appliances will enable the clinic to conduct more in-house lab work and receive immediate results. That allows healthcare providers to treat conditions earlier and improve patient outcomes. The refrigerators also increase storage capacity for thousands of dollars worth of medications, allowing the clinic to increase its caseload.
