Despite the government reopening, leaders of regional food banks say they don’t expect demand to slow anytime soon.

The food pantry, backed by community partners and spearheaded by the city’s housing authority, will be open to residents of the Legacy at Jordan Park every Thursday afternoon.

Recognizing the need to address homelessness in the community, the St Petersburg Downtown Partnership convened a “leadership lunch” Wednesday at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital to explore innovative solutions for supporting St. Petersburg’s unhoused population.
