St. Petersburg just announced the debut of its newest project to help battle food insecurity in the city’s lower-income neighborhoods.

Mail carriers across Tampa Bay will drop a gray plastic bag in mailboxes Friday ahead of the national Stamp Out Hunger food drive collection taking place Saturday.
