January 7, 2023 – No Kid Hungry Florida recently awarded the St. Pete Free Clinic a grant to help the local organization feed more children and families. Sky Beard, director of the state’s No Kid Hungry affiliate, told WFTS that one in six children live in homes considered food insecure. The extra funding will reportedly allow the St. Pete Free Clinic to assist 10,000 children and 1,200 families monthly through its Fresh Sprouts Program.
