FRESH Pace
Corner Neighborhood Healthy Stores
FRESH Pace is a partnership between St. Pete Free Clinic and the City of St. Petersburg that brings healthy, affordable food options to neighborhoods where access to nutritious groceries has historically been limited. FRESH Pace certified stores stock fresh produce, lean proteins, whole grains, and dairy — alongside healthy recipes developed by a registered dietitian nutritionist with the SPFC Health Center.
The program also supports local store owners by helping them navigate accepting EBT/SNAP and WIC benefits, subsidizing food costs, and building sustainable models rooted in community health. The program is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) via the City of St. Petersburg’s Food Security initiative.
